Welcome to Mini Makers

We are based in the village of Graveley, just north of Stevenage, and provide high quality care and education for children between two and five years old.  We offer sessions from 8.30am to 1.00pm Monday - Friday, and from 8.30am - 3.30pm on Wednesdays.  Full details of term dates and session times can be found on the Sessions page.

The pre-school is held in Graveley Village Hall, where we have a large indoor space and an extensive range of good quality toys and equipment. We also have our own enclosed outdoor play area adjacent to the hall which can be used year-round. The play area was designed and built in 2009/10 especially for Mini Makers pre school children.

We aim to ensure that each child

• is in a safe and stimulating environment that provides new and exciting experiences
• is given generous care and attention because of our ratio of qualified staff to children, as well as volunteer parent helpers
• has the chance to join with other adults and children to live, play, work and learn together

Our pre-school recognises parents as the first and most important educators of their children, and we see
parents as partners in helping each child to learn and develop.  We depend on the support, commitment
and involvement of our parents to be successful.

Above all we aim to ensure that all the children at our pre school are happy and have fun. Take
